Use an Automated Greeting Card Campaign

One of the best features of greeting card campaign is the ability to automatically send a series of cards to customers. You can also send personalized versions of the same card to many customers (very handing around the holidays). Using campaigns has streamlined marketing for many of my clients and has resulted in increased sales and customer retention. Customers likely need to be contacted between 5 and 11 times. Card campaigns make that contact easier. Here are five great ways to use the campaign function.

1. Create a year-long campaign that mirrors your sales cycle.

Do you sell different things at different times of the year. Spend some time at the beginning of the year to create a card campaign that mirrors your sales cycle. If you have a back to school special in September and a beginning of the year promotion - get those cards set up early and put your marketing on autopilot.

2. Announce and promote a special event.

Send a save the date before the event, send cards every few weeks announcing the event and then a thank you card afterward.

3. New customer/prospect orientation.

One of the best ways to use a card campaign is to introduce a new customer or prospect to your product or prospect. Send an introductory card, and then every few days to few weeks, send another card with information on a different facet of our product or service. People have short attention spans and appreciate repetition.

4. Use cards as reminders

This is a great way to use campaign for anyone (coaches) who makes appointments with clients. Create a system where a reminder of each coaching appointment is routinely sent. You can even use the system to remind people to make appointments with you.

5. Just Because

This is one of the very best ways to use the campaign feature. Set up a system to send cards periodically to clients and prospects just because. You can create a series of 4, 6 or 10 pretty or motivational cards that you can have delivered every month or so. It is a great way to stay top of mind for your clients.
